The Centre for Organisational Research CORe is a project-based research centre whose funds originate exclusively from external agencies, mainly the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) and the European Science Foundation (ESF). CORe is directed by Prof. Alessandro Lomi and avails itself of several researchers and doctoral students, as well as of an ideal network of international collaborations. Thanks to its research activities performed at a high level, the competencies of its members as well as its expected future growth, CORe aims at becoming one of the major European centres for the study of organisational theories and for the consolidation of the understanding of business organisations’ operation modes.
